Price mentioned is for group of 4 persons which is the minimum for this tour.
3 HOURS PRIVATE WINE TOUR
The great thing about this intimate wine excursion; you tell us where YOU would like to go in the Sancerre Region, The Pouilly Fumé region or both. We will spend some time discussing the options for this private wine tour and taking suggestions whilst on the way to the Sancerrois.
- Discovery of the vineyard’s landscapes, soils, grape varieties.
- Visit of a winery and wine tasting of the different wines of the domain.
- Visit of a goat cheese farm with explanations about the process of making it and tasting of different matured goat cheeses.
- You have the choice of the following regions : Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé or the combinations Pouilly-Fumé and Coteaux-de-Giennois or Sancerre and Côtes de la Charité.

Local tasting workshops are offered throughout the year, through the discovery of Center-Loire wines (Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé and Pouilly-sur-Loire, Menetou-Salon, Quincy, Reuilly, Coteaux-du-Giennois, Côtes de la Charité).
WHY CHOOSE VINITOUR?
VINITOUR offers you wine tours lasting from 1.5 hours up to one day in the heart of Centre-Loire vineyards (departments of Cher, Nièvre, Loiret and Indre).
You will be accompanied by an expert wine tourism guide who can answer your questions and take you on tours of the vineyards. The tours are in French, English for groups from 2 to 8 people or in Dutch or German for 2 people.
QUALIFIED STAFF
Laure JUVET, graduate of “DUAD” from the Oenology School of Bordeaux I and WSET 3 accredited, will be your wine guide.
Bart MEIJER, partner of Vinitour and WSET accredited, a knowledgeable wine-enthusiast, will do the private tours.
GREAT ESTATES
Vinitour is working together with some of the greatest wine-growers in the Sancerre and the Pouilly-Fumé. On request we can also visit the vineyards of Menetou-Salon, Coteaux-du-Giennois and others in the region.
COMFORTABLE TRAVEL
Vinitour’s excursions take place in comfortable air-conditioned vehicles.
For greater groups we use a mini-van with a maximum seating of 8 guests. For the private tours we use a normal sedan.
DAILY EXCURSIONS
Our normal departure times are at 9:30 am and 2:00 pm for the 3 hour visits. The full day visits will start at 9:30 am and will end around 5 pm with a 1 to 1,5 hours lunch break around mid day. These departure times are applicable to both the normal and the private tours.
INTIMATE WINE TASTINGS
Would you like to discover the world of wine, wines from different appellations of France or local wines? Vinitour’s qualified staff will introduce you to the secrets of wine through wine tasting workshops with a duration of about 2 hours, held throughout the year.
