Private Tour 6 hrs (full day)

A full day private wine tour for 2 persons only! The great thing about this intimate wine excursion;  you tell us where YOU would like to go in the Sancerre Region, The Pouilly Fumé Region or other regions. We will spend some time discussing the options for this private wine tour and taking suggestions whilst on the way to the Sancerrois. Are you a lover of the Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Noir type of wines, then the Sancerre or Pouilly Fumé are definitely a must. Of course other regions of the Sancerrois (i.e. Menetou Salon, Coteaux du Giennois, Qincy or Reuilly or even Chateau Meillant ) can be visited on request. Our private wine tour program usually consist of the following elements:

• Discovery of the vineyard’s landscapes, soils, grape varieties.
• Visit of two/three wineries and wine tasting of the different wines of the domain.
• Visit of a goat cheese farm with explanations about the process of making it and tasting of different matured goat cheeses.

Suggested Vineyards : all the appellations and Côtes de la Charité. Bookings at least 3 days prior to the date of the reservation and minimum/maximum 2/3 people only! On request pick-up/drop-off at your hotel or other place where you are staying (for clients in the Sancerre region). This tour runs from 09:30 – 12:30 and from 14:00 –  17:00 with a lunch break of 1,5 hours around noon. We can advise you in the choice of a restaurant to enjoy a wonderful lunch. (Lunch is at your own expense).
